TONY MITCHELL is best known as being the singer songwriter & fronting the 90s classic rock band \u201cKiss of the Gypsy\u201d signed to Atlantic Records USA & Warner Chappell. They toured the UK & states with their debut album & high energy live shows to great acclaim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Songs such as \u201cWhatever it Takes\u201d, \u201cTake This Old Heart\u201d. \u201cFrom The Dirt\u201d & \u201cNo Prize For the Loser\u201d are still melodic rock classics to this day.Mitchell was also the singer songwriter for Melodic Rock\/AOR band \u201cDIRTY WHITE BOYZ\u201d with their 2016 album release, \u201cDown & Dirty\u201d including the singles \u201cAll in the Name of Rock n Roll\u201d, \u201cHanging on a Heartache\u201d, \u201cRide With Angels\u201d & \u201cDynamite\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023, Mitchell releases his 4th<\/sup> official solo album \u201cRadio Heartbeat\u201d. A hard hitting melodic rock rollercoaster ride opening with \u201cBlue Lightning\u201d written about the story of the legendry 70s\/80s Scottish singer songwriter, Frankie Miller.  The ride continues with the raw soulful \u201cKeep the Love Alive\u201d, \u201cRadio Heartbeat\u201d which is a tribute to the great music of the 70s & 80s & slides seamlessly into the next track \u201cRockin\u2019 in a Hard Place\u201d describing the long hard musical road, learning the pleasure & pain rather than the quick hit reality X Factor way. \u201cTop of the World\u201d eases the ride down with an honest reflection on the pain we cause but never seem to see when we think the grass is greener on the other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big hitters like \u201cAnother Beat of my Heart\u201d, \u201cThis Side of Midnight\u201d & \u201cBorderline\u201d turns up the melodic rock\/AOR dial to full & with the poignant finale \u201cPhoenix Rising\u201d written at the start of Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine, Mitchell says he tries to keep politics out of his music but he felt too strongly not to express his thoughts on it.
