Oh, the glorious 80’s…!\u00a0Those were the years of innovations and great hopes and for music lovers, an endless wave of Rock, Hard-Rock, Heavy Metal, Hair\u00a0Metal\u00a0and\u00a0AOR\u00a0fabulous\u00a0bands\u00a0who\u00a0could\u00a0capture\u00a0audiences\u00a0instantly\u00a0with\u00a0powerful\u00a0emotions.\u00a0In\u00a0essence,\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0the reign of \ufb02ashiness, big choruses, e\ufb00ervescent guitar solos\u00a0and\u00a0above\u00a0all\u00a0the\u00a0decade\u00a0for\u00a0melody.
It is no secret that Yvan Guillevic the founder of Heart Line grew up nurtured by these fascinating music in\ufb02uences. They made him the outstanding musician we know who now rocks his own guitar on the AOR wave. If you ask him, he will tell you they are actually his DNA, the raison\u00a0d\u2019\u00eatre\u00a0<\/em>of Heart Line! With 2 album releases in the verve of melodic rock \u201cBack in the Game\u201d & \u201cRock \u2018N\u2019 Roll Queen\u2019 that were both acclaimed by the Int\u2019l press, the band thought it was fair to pay a sincere tribute to the great bands of this fabulous era.

The 5 titles of this EP are a \ufb01ne selection of some of the most outstanding music AOR material of the 80\u2019s from various countries, UK, Sweden and the US. Forget about mainstream hits! Through their immense qualities, these 5 tracks prove enough how breathtaking the music level was in the 80’s and how much the bands deserved recognition. Who knows? May be some of you will discover band names that had slipped under your radar and yet deserved!?
