The trio consists of San Diego\u2013born, Nashville-based Darin Scheff, son of the legendary Jerry Scheff, bass player for Elvis Presley, The Doors, and Bob Dylan. Darin is a well-regarded songwriter and producer and has written songs for many artists, including his brother Jason\u2019s legendary band, Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Tolle has been active for decades as a writer, producer, and recording artist, most notably with the Christian Tolle Project<\/em> and his current band Tiffany Kills<\/em>, while also contributing songs and session work for numerous other artists. Netherlands-based Morris Adriaens completes the formation and can truly be described as an extremely skilled musical Swiss Army knife: a fantastic guitar player, keyboardist, and songwriter with a great sense for melodies and arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, the trio shared a musical vision and threw their song ideas into the middle to record Let\u2019s Stop The World<\/em> across the US, Germany, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The connection between the Scheffs and Christian goes back many years. The youngest of Jerry\u2019s sons, Lauren, first met Christian in the late nineties, and they collaborated on numerous occasions. It was Lauren who originally connected Christian to Darin. Several songs were written and released during that time, with either Darin or Lauren involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact that all three brothers contribute to Scheff Tolle Adriaens<\/em> is certainly a highlight of the album. Jason Scheff plays bass on the title track, while Lauren Scheff delivers his signature five-string bass on \u201cLet\u2019s Rise\u201d and \u201cRain.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you like rock with a West Coast touch and the sound of that era, you will dig Let\u2019s Stop The World<\/em>. Fans of Toto, Chicago, Bryan Adams, or Mr. Mister will find plenty to enjoy in this international collaboration\u2014one that is built on a single foundation: a true love for music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
