“Bites Back” is the second album by the band Bluetruth feat. guitarist/ keyboardist Peo Pettersson (AXIA, PEO, PAL), bass guitar player Johan Bergman and singer Jeroen Ehlen.
With their new album, Bluetruth venture into the realm of melodic rock and have stepped it up in every respect. Alongside keyboardist/ guitarist Peo Pettersson, “Bites Back” features the classic AOR/melodic rock sound of the early 1980s – Swedish style. Johan plays a key role in the songwriting process and in creating the Blutruth sound.
Highlights include the laid back „Echoes Of The Past“, which stirs up a longing for a summer drive in a cabrio, and the upbeat rock song “Freedom” plus the radio suitable „Streelights“ are among the highlights from the album which takes you on a journey back in time 40–45 years and the carefree spirit of that era.
„Bites Back“ was recorded at POP Productions Studios and mixed and mastered by Johan Bergman at Kaleidoscope Studios.
