Throughout his career, Indigo Balboa has developed an extensive network of collaborations and friendships within the international music scene. Alongside names such as Mark Spiro, Jimi Jamison, Robert Tepper, Tim Pierce, and Michael Thompson, he has also maintained a close artistic relationship with producer Alfonso Samos, a friend and regular collaborator for over fifteen years, with whom he has shared countless projects and live performances.
Another key figure in Indigo’s story is Robert Tepper. Long before sharing songs and songwriting credits, Indigo was responsible for bringing the author of classics such as No Easy Way Out to European stages for the first time. That experience developed into a friendship that has endured through the years and now takes on a new artistic dimension through State Of Grace, where Tepper contributes both as a collaborator and songwriter.
Scheduled for release in the fall of 2026, State Of Grace represents the culmination of more than twenty-five years of experiences, songs, and relationships built around music. Produced by Indigo Balboa and co-produced by Mark Spiro on seven of its tracks, the album features contributions from Robert Tepper, Tim Pierce, Michael Thompson, Alfonso Samos, Paco Cerezo, Vidal Ruiz, and Spiro himself.
Particularly moving is the presence of Mark Spiro throughout much of the album. In addition to co-producing part of the record, Spiro contributes his unmistakable voice, arrangements, and creative signature, all of which have become an essential part of State Of Grace and now stand as a significant part of his final artistic legacy.
Following the loss of his friend Mark Spiro in 2024, Indigo continued writing songs inspired by his own life experiences, creating music shaped by honesty, loyalty, experience, and a deep passion for melodic rock. All of it has ultimately found its way into State Of Grace, his most personal work to date.
Beyond the names and credits, State Of Grace reflects something even more important: the personal relationships built over many years. The involvement of Mark Spiro, Robert Tepper, and the other musicians who appear on the album is not simply a collection of guest performances, but the result of friendships forged through songs, stages, travels, and shared experiences over decades. That spirit of camaraderie and trust is present throughout every recording session and has become an essential part of the album’s identity. More than a new release, State Of Grace is the culmination of a journey spanning more than two decades, a story built on songs, friendships, and an enduring passion for melodic rock.
